Frequently Asked Questions

Please understand, ponder and accept as a fact that we all operate by our own FREEWILL, endorsed by our higher power and defined by our individuality.  Now, ask yourself:

Is my mind my own?

Is my life my own?

Am I happy with my life?

In considering if this all there is can you say : "I 'm satisfied with my existence."?

If any of your answers were anything but a resounding "YES!", perhaps it's time to consider a change.

00 What is a Paragon?

PARAGON  -   noun   par·a·gon | \ ˈper-ə-ˌgän  , -gən, ˈpa-rə- \ :

a model of excellence or perfection.   formal : a person or thing that is perfect or excellent in some way and should be considered a model or example to be copied    -    Merriam-Webster.com, Dictionary

01 What is Paragon Living?

Paragon Living is about living your life according to your standards and your expectations.   It's about living in your own personal state of excellence by your personal definition. To live freely without seemingly unreasonable edicts of the church, the school, the family - including your spouse, parents or cultural stereotypes, as well as your friends or your situation.  As long as you recognize that you possess the FREEWILL to be whomever, and do whatever you choose - as long as nothing you do causes harm to another - your life is uniquely yours to live.  Paragon Living is about breaking free from the bonds, mostly imaginary, in which you willfully subscribe, and rationally accepting personal responsibility for your actions and your future.

Paragon Living is existing in a state of passion and peace as determined by  YOU, the individual. With the logical influence of an individuals freewill and innate desire to pursue happiness, a person who defines themselves by their own standards and is mindful of their  actions will flow through life with joy and integrity.  Always aware of your minds' influence on your surroundings, you may consistently act in a fashion that creates harmony with your beliefs and a stress-free lifestyle. Generally speaking, a person practicing a Paragon lifestyle will have greater self-esteem, yet will present humility in all things...it is likened to a Buddhist monks pursuit of enlightenment, without the overtly diminishing vows of silence, poverty, chastity or reverence; or the martial arts master who turns the other cheek, knowing full well that he could decimate the aggressor.  Given the choice, would you prefer to live under the burden of someone else's dogma.. or be a Paragon?

02  What is NLP?

NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to your neurology - your brain/mind connection; Linguistic refers to language - communication in all it's forms; Programming refers to how that neural language functions - the processes it has established. In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind!  NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) is a discipline that helps you change your behavior, by understanding the language of your mind, much like programming a computer. There are various techniques for creating shifts in perspective and changing the programming.

Our task is to guide the client through the proper processes and let them find their own solutions.  We can’t MAKE a person change, all we can do is guide them to their own answers and lead them to that moment of clarity. Our purpose is to help them change their perspective and recognize inaccurate or out–dated beliefs upon which they are habitually making decisions, commonly referred to as "limiting beliefs". Once their perspective shifts, their paradigm – the way the view the world they live in – shifts and things that they may have been blind to before, become facts of life.  "Unknown-unknowns" become clear and secondary gains recognized.

This new perspective is then substantiated with Time Line Therapy and reinforced with Hypnotherapy.

03  What is Time Line Therapy®?

Time Line Therapy® was developed by the late, great Dr. Tad James, (R.I.P.). Time Line Therapy® involves treatment at an unconscious level and allows a client to surrender negative emotions linked to past experiences and transform their internal programming. A person’s TimeLine represents their mental photo album and their own ability to distinguish between images of the past and perceptions of the future. The internal programming is often the mechanism that is responsible for our outward expressions of emotions. The goal of Time Line Therapy® is to subtly and unconsciously change the client’s behavior patterns so that they can react to present experiences based on present conditions and not react to situations that present themselves today based on emotions linked to previous life events. The technique relies on reprogramming a person’s response and behavior mechanism in such a way to bring about a healthier sense of well-being. The Time Line Therapy® method provides lasting results that can be achieved in days, if not hours.

Time Line Therapy® incorporates a sampling of various techniques that empower a person to take the emotional reins of their life back. People often suffer from emotional outbursts or unfamiliar reactions and they do not know why. Emotions such as depression, anxiety, fear, apathy or sadness are all symptoms of negative feelings that prevent someone from reaching the peak of their human development. Often, limiting beliefs are manifested in our verbal expressions. These beliefs are born out of past experiences and we have integrated them into our internal structure.

The Time Line Therapy® technique allows you to move past these limiting beliefs and personal constrictions on your life. Through practical application, a person can be guided to access specific memories and learn how to disconnect from the negative feelings associated with those memories. This allows a person to liberate themselves from their prior belief system and instead create new, more positive affirmations and beliefs with which they can use to propel them to a fuller and more enriching life.

 04  What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that is used to create subconscious change in a patient in the form of new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors or feelings. It is undertaken with a subject under hypnosis, a trance state.  A person who is hypnotized displays certain unusual behavior characteristics and propensities, compared with a non-hypnotized subject, most notably heightened suggestibility and responsiveness. We use these techniques to solidify  and ratify changes and the new paradigm established while using NLP and Time Line Therapy®.  It is a powerful and effective means of instilling lasting changes for the greatest benefit of the client.

Hypnosis -- or hypnotherapy -- uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance. The person's attention is so focused while in this state that anything going on around the person is temporarily blocked out or ignored. In this naturally occurring state, a person may focus his or her attention -- with the help of a trained therapist -- on specific thoughts or tasks.

Hypnotherapy can be applied to many psychological, emotional and physical disorders.  It is used to relieve pain in surgery and dentistry and has proven to be of benefit in obstetrics.  It can shorten the delivery stage of labor and reduce the need for painkillers.  It can ease the suffering of the disabled and those facing terminal illness, and it has been shown to help people to overcome addictions, such as smoking and alcoholism, and to help with bulimia.  Children are generally easy to hypnotize and can be helped with nocturnal enuresis (bed-wetting) and chronic asthma, whilst teenagers can conquer stammering or blushing problems which can otherwise make their lives miserable.

Phobias of all kinds lend themselves well to hypnotherapy, and anyone suffering from panic attacks or obsessive compulsive behavior, and stress-related problems like insomnia, may benefit.
